Announcing: Jack Harris at the Oxford ReLit Summer School

With only two months to go until this year’s Oxford ReLit Summer School, we are thrilled to announce that singer-songwriter Jack Harris will be joining us on Saturday 1st July to give an exclusive performance. Jack has been writing and performing his music for over ten years. He appeared as a showcasing artist at the SXSW music festival aged just 17, and was the youngest ever winner of the Kerrville Folk Festival’s New Folk Award in 2005. Jack is not only a songwriter: he is also a storyteller, and his wide-ranging influences encompass the literary as well as the musical.

Jack’s most recent album, The Wide Afternoon, was met with instant critical acclaim. Reviewer Robin Denselow describes it as “poetic and powerful”, while Mike Davies deems The Wide Afternoon “a sublime album by a sublime artist”.
